Victor lighting has been manufacturing Lighting for use in deep mines and arduous industrial environments since 1929. It's Flameproof Lighting with a simple serviceable design is widely considered some of the best industrial lighting ever produced.

Truman's Black Eagle Brewery

The lights were salvaged from Truman's Black Eagle Brewery, one of east London's most iconic landmarks. First founded in 1679 it then became the largest brewery in the world by the mid 1800's and is referenced in Charles Dickens novel David Copperfield. The site was developed in the 1990's and 2000's and this run of lights from a back part brewery, were taken down and have been in storage since, a rare opportunity to own a piece of London's rapidly disappearing history.....

Condition Report

The lights have been re wired with modern electrical components, the shades show minor signs of cosmetic in places in the form of chips the the enamel and rust spots.

As with all of our products this product is an original piece and has lived a life before it arrived at Otto's HQ. It has been sympathetically restored by the Otto's team to ensure it has a life for many more years to come. All of our products will show signs of patina and cosmetic wear, this we believe is what gives our products their unique charm.
