The shelves originally formed part of a large Ironmongers shop and was one of 4 sets of shelves used to store a huge variety of items along the back wall of the shop. Located in the Saarland region of Germany, the shop and full interior was built in 1907 and made by local carpenters using Pine & Larch from the surrounding forests of the southern Mosel valley. Unfortunately the shop closed after over 100 years of business, our team were then tasked with saving and painstakingly dismantling the entire shop interior.
