Rowac

Robert Wagner’s founded his company in 1888 in Chemnitz, better known as Rowac. His products stood for functional excellence, and were designed to provide the highest quality of healthy seating. Robert Wagner’s designs were so much respected by the founder of the Bauhaus movement Walter Grophius, that he had all Bauhaus workshops equipped with Rowac furniture.



Condition Report

Seats have been waxed and polished but will show age marks, they have been glued and filled where needed to ensure the surface is smooth. Some chips to the original green paint in places.

As with all of our products this product is an original piece and has lived a life before it arrived at Otto's HQ. It has been sympathetically restored by the Otto's team to ensure it has a life for many more years to come. All of our products will show signs of patina and cosmetic wear, this we believe is what gives our products their unique charm.
